Psychedelic Integration
Psychedelic integration coaching
One-on-one integration coaching that helps you prepare, set intentions, and make the most of the neuroplastic window after each session — with a coach who understands psychedelics.
What is psychedelic integration?
Psychedelic integration is the work of making sense of a psychedelic experience and carrying what you learned into everyday life. An experience can bring insight, emotion, or a new perspective — integration is how that insight becomes real change in your habits, relationships, and mental health.
Without integration, even a meaningful session can fade into a memory. With it, the experience becomes a starting point.
What does a psychedelic integration coach do?
A Same Team integration coach works with you one-on-one, before and after your sessions, to help you get the most from your treatment:
Preparation
What you do before a session shapes the experience. Your coach helps you prepare your mindset, routines, and environment.
Intention setting
Naming what you are working toward gives each session direction and meaning.
Integration
The days after a session are a window when the brain is especially open to change. Your coach helps you take small, deliberate steps so insights turn into lasting shifts.
Integration coaching vs. psychedelic integration therapy
Psychedelic integration therapy is provided by a licensed therapist and focuses on clinical treatment. Integration coaching is focused on action: building skills, setting goals, and following through between visits.
Same Team provides coaching, not therapy. Many people use both — a coach complements the care you already receive from your psychiatrist, prescriber, or therapist.
Why Same Team?
The days after a psychedelic experience are a critical neuroplastic window — a short stretch when the brain is especially open to new connections, habits, and ways of thinking. What you do during that window has a big influence on whether insights fade or turn into lasting change.
Same Team coaches understand psychedelics. They know what preparation, intention setting, and integration look like in practice, and they help you use that window deliberately — with small, concrete steps instead of hoping the experience sticks on its own.
Beyond each session, your coach can support the areas that shape lasting mental health — sleep, diet, exercise, relationship boundaries, stress management, and purpose.
In Arizona and Colorado, Same Team coaching can be billed to most major commercial insurance plans. Everywhere else, coaching is available at a cash-pay rate.
Frequently asked questions
What is psychedelic integration coaching?
Psychedelic integration coaching is one-on-one support that helps you prepare for a psychedelic or ketamine experience, set intentions, and turn the insights from it into lasting changes in daily life.
Is integration coaching the same as therapy?
No. Psychedelic integration therapy is provided by a licensed therapist. Integration coaching focuses on skills, goals, and follow-through, and can complement the care you receive from your clinicians. Same Team provides coaching, not therapy.
Is psychedelic integration coaching covered by insurance?
In Arizona and Colorado, Same Team coaching can be billed to most major commercial insurance plans, and most patients pay a standard monthly copay depending on their plan. In other states, coaching is available at a cash-pay rate. Same Team does not currently accept Medicare, Medicaid, AHCCCS, or Tricare.
Does Same Team provide psychedelics?
No. Same Team is not a clinic and does not prescribe, provide, or administer any substance. We only support people using legal, state-authorized treatment, such as ketamine or Spravato prescribed by a licensed provider, or state-regulated psilocybin programs.
How do I find a psychedelic integration coach?
You can schedule a free consult with Same Team. We will learn about your treatment, go over insurance or cash-pay options, and match you with a coach.
